深圳市传感器技术重点实验室组建于2008年。实验室专注于传感器基础研究、器件设计、传感器性能测试、多传感器融合技术及综合自动化技术等方面，在新型光子晶体光纤温度和应变传感器、光纤表面等离子传感器、光纤拉曼传感器、实用化的光纤压力振动传感与网络系统、气体传感器综合测试系统、超灵敏纳米材料气体传感器与热电薄膜等方面取得了丰富的研究成果，部分研究成果达到国内领先水平。

目前，实验室拥有国内一流的实验条件与测试设备，包括飞秒激光微加工系统、光谱测试设备、薄膜沉积系统、光学显微镜、SEM扫描电镜、光纤参量测量与传感测试系统等众多大型进口设备，固定资产总值约2600万元。骨干科研人员中正高职称6名，副高职称11名，23人具有博士学位。到目前为止，实验室共承担了科研项目150余项，总经费达5300万元。已申请专利66项，获得专利授权48项；在国内外发表科研论文284篇，其中175篇被SCI/EI收录。2009年度获得深圳市科技创新奖,2010年度获得广东省科技进步三等奖,2019年度获得深圳市自然科学奖二等奖。已培养博士后5名，博士及硕士研究生81名。

Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Sensor Technology was established in 2008. It focus on sensor-based theory, sensors design, sensors performance test, multi-sensor information fusion technology, integrated automation technology. Now, rich research fruits have been achieved on novel temperature and strain photonic crystal fiber sensor, optical fiber surface plasma resonance sensor, fiber Raman sensor, integrated practical fiber pressure and vibration sensor and networks, gas sensor integrated test system, ultra sensitive nano material gas sensor and thermoelectric thin film. A number of high quality papers and national invention patents have published or authorized, some of which has reached the leading level on domestic.

The laboratory has the first-class experimental conditions and test equipment including femtosecond lasers, optical spectroscopy analyzers, film coating machines, optical microscopes, scanning electron microscope, fiber parameter and sensor test system and other large imported equipment, the total value of fixed assets worth about 26 million Yuan. The laboratory has a very strong research team, consists of 6 senior title staffs, 11 vice-senior title staffs, and 23 PhD holders. So far, the laboratory undertakes more than 150 research projects with a total contract amount of more than 53 million Yuan. Up to now, it has applied 66 national invention patents, 48 of which have been authorized. More than 284 papers are published, of which 175 papers are SCI/EI indexed. In 2009, the laboratory wined Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Award and wined the third prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2010. For now, 5 post-doctoral and 81 PhD and MS graduates are educated.
